Due to differing operational circumstances, training programs are governed by the individual Reed Project Managers, but monitored and supported by Reed’s Training Department. Results are recorded to ensure all members comply with the necessary training requirements and standards.
All training is registered and filed with the training department while quality reports are supplied to the client with regards to results achieved. Ad-hoc evaluations of individuals and teams are also conducted by the Training Department to ensure maintenance of standards and operational readiness.
Progressive Theory and Practical Training is applied where the knowledge, culture, skills level, and attitude of each member are deemed the most prominent factors affecting the achievement of training objectives through discussions, demonstrations, trainer lesson presentations, and practical corrective sessions.
The continuous training, quality control, and mentoring of each staff member, as well as the constant improvement of training modules, are conducted by the Reed Training Personnel to ensure that the trainees/operational personnel continually possess the skills and knowledge required to perform their tasks.
Reed employs qualified training personnel who conduct formal training and regular evaluations of our PSD, close protection, and static guard personnel, as well as governing our Training Contracts. Reed has completed contracts for the training of the Iraqi Police Service in weapons proficiency, driving, and maintenance as well as the tactical utilization of the REVA APC vehicle. We have also trained Iraqi technical personnel in the driving and maintenance of the Armored Security Vehicle (ASV) utilized by specialized Iraqi Police units.
