Past experience of senior staff members in peacekeeping operations in the DRC, Burundi, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Comoros, Sierra Leone, and the Sudan, including diplomatic experience with the African Union, makes the Reed team not only highly experienced in peace support operations but also highly versed in local customs and traditions, a key requirement to operate successfully in Africa.
Peace keeping operations are by nature highly politicized. Reed can confidently state that its staff is extremely sensitized and aware of specifically African issues, cultural and political, due to the intimate involvement of many of our staff members in the African continent. This is an important asset in executing peace support operations successfully and effectively in support of and in cooperation with the host government.
